Before You Fit Your Extensions

Everything you need to know before fitting your Bio Protein Fibre extensions. We always recommend professional fitting for the most natural finish and the best long-term results. If you decide to fit them yourself, please follow the guidance below carefully.

After cutting the wefts, it is normal for a small amount of hair to shed from the cut areas. Brush the cut areas well before application to remove any loose hair and help prevent shedding afterwards.

Style your Bio-Protein Fibre Hair using heated tools at up to 150°C. After creating each curl, hold it in place for at least 20 seconds while it cools. The curls will set beautifully and can easily be straightened again at up to 150°C.

Care Guide

Our 26 inches, 210g Bio-Protein Fibre Hair extensions are designed to deliver exceptional fullness, softness and natural movement.

To preserve their beauty and longevity, please follow our professional care recommendations below.

Heat Styling

Bio-Protein Fibre Hair is heat-friendly, allowing you to create beautiful curls, waves or sleek styles with ease.

  • We recommend using styling tools at up to 150°C to help preserve the quality and longevity of the fibres.
  • Always apply a heat protectant before using any heated styling tools.
  • Avoid applying direct heat to the tape bonds.

Using the correct temperature and proper heat protection will help keep your Bio-Protein Fibre Hair smooth, soft and long-lasting.

✔ Suitable for straighteners

✔ Curling irons

✔ Hairdryers (medium heat recommended)

Lower heat helps maintain the silky texture and shine.

How to Style Bio-Protein Fibre Hair

Styling Bio-Protein Fibre Hair is slightly different from styling natural human hair, but achieving beautiful, long-lasting curls is simple.

We recommend using styling tools at a temperature of up to 150°C.

After creating each curl, hold it in place while it is still warm for at least 20 seconds. This allows the curl to cool and set properly, helping it last longer.

Once released, the curls will hold beautifully, creating a soft, natural-looking finish.

🧴 Washing & Conditioning

To keep your Bio-Protein Fibre Hair soft, smooth and looking its best:

  • Use a sulphate-free shampoo.
  • Choose a moisturising or smoothing conditioner.
  • Apply conditioner only to the mid-lengths and ends, avoiding the tape bonds.
  • Always use a heat protectant before using any heated styling tools.
  • Gently pat the hair dry with a towel — never rub.

We recommend using sulphate-free hair care products to help maintain the softness, shine and longevity of your extensions.

With the right care, your Bio-Protein Fibre Hair will maintain its softness, smooth finish and natural movement for longer.

🪮 Brushing

    • Use a soft-bristle or extension brush.
    • Brush your hair 2–3 times a day.
    • Start at the ends and work your way up.
    • Hold the weft securely when brushing near the tape area.

Gentle brushing helps maintain fullness, prevents tangling, and keeps your Bio-Protein Fibre Hair looking its best.

    🛏 Night Care

    For optimal overnight protection:

    • Tie your hair in a loose braid or low ponytail.
    • Never sleep with wet hair.
    • Wear a satin or silk bonnet.
    • Alternatively, sleep on a satin or silk pillowcase to minimise friction.

Satin and silk help reduce friction, dryness, frizz and tangling, keeping your Bio-Protein Fibre Hair smooth, healthy-looking and beautiful for longer.

    🔁 Tape Maintenance

Cleaning, Refreshing & Replacing the Adhesive

To maintain optimal performance and longevity of your Bio-Protein Fibre Hair tape-in wefts, follow this professional reapplication process.

✨ Step 1 – Removing the Old Tape Residue

    • Carefully peel away the used adhesive tape from the weft.
    • If any residue remains, use a professional adhesive remover designed for tape-in hair extensions.
    • Apply a small amount and gently remove the residue using your fingers or a soft cloth.
    • Do not scrape the weft or pull the fibres, as this may cause damage.

Ensure the weft base is completely clean before proceeding.

    🧴 Step 2 – Cleansing the Weft

    • Once all adhesive residue has been removed, wash the hair using a sulphate-free shampoo.
    • Avoid excessive rubbing around the weft base.
    • Apply conditioner only to the mid-lengths and ends, avoiding the weft seam.
    • Rinse thoroughly.

Gently pat the hair dry with a towel, then allow it to air dry completely before re-taping.

The weft must be completely dry before applying new adhesive. Your natural hair at the roots should also be completely clean, dry, and free from any oils or styling products to ensure the best possible hold.

    🔄 Step 3 – Applying New Tape

    • Use professional-grade replacement tape specifically designed for tape-in hair extensions.
    • Firmly apply the new adhesive strip to the clean, dry weft base.
    • Press firmly along the entire strip to ensure a secure bond.

For the best results, we recommend having your extensions fitted by a qualified stylist.

    💎 Professional Advice

Re-taping should only be carried out once the wefts are completely clean and dry.

Improper removal or reapplication may reduce the strength and longevity of the adhesive.

With proper care and maintenance, your Bio-Protein Fibre Hair wefts can be re-taped and reused multiple times.

    ⏳ Longevity

With proper care, your Bio-Protein Fibre Hair extensions will maintain their softness, thickness and natural movement for several months.

    Luxury hair deserves luxury care.
