Terms & Conditions – Hair Extensions & Adhesive Components

 

1. General & Products

1.1. These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase and use of all bio-protein fibre hair extensions and related accessories supplied by Charry&Rose. 1.2. Our products are designed for professional or experienced personal use. All items are supplied strictly as cosmetic hair enhancement products and are subject to the limitations set out herein.

2. Product Representation

2.1. We make every reasonable effort to display product colours, lengths, and textures accurately. However, actual colours may vary slightly due to lighting, studio photography, screen resolution, or device display settings. 2.2. Minor colour variations do not constitute a manufacturing defect or non-conformity.

3. Pricing & Payments

3.1. All prices are listed in GBP (£). We reserve the right to update pricing, promotional offers, or shipping rates at any time without prior notice. 3.2. Payment must be completed in full at the checkout before order processing and dispatch.

4. Returns, Refunds & Statutory Hygiene Exceptions (UK Law)

4.1. UK Consumer Rights Exemption: In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (Regulation 28(1)(3)(a)), the right to cancel or return goods does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if they become unsealed, opened, or used after delivery. 4.2. Hygienic Products: Hair extensions are personal hygiene items. Once the security seal, hygienic binding, or outer protective packaging is broken, removed, or tampered with, the product is strictly non-returnable and non-refundable. 4.3. Test Samples (Tape-In Range): To allow customers to evaluate hair colour, softness, and adhesive quality, Tape-In orders include two complimentary test sample pieces outside the main sealed package. Opening, cutting, removing the adhesive tape, or breaking the seal of the main product package automatically voids all rights to a return or refund. 4.4. Eligible Returns: Unopened items with all seals fully intact may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided the customer contacts support first and uses a tracked shipping service. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

5. Quality Control & Manufacturing Video Records

5.1. Every order undergoes a 100% manual quality control inspection prior to shipment. 5.2. For quality assurance, dispute prevention, and anti-fraud verification, all manufacturing and packing processes are recorded on video and securely archived for 60 days. Claims of missing, incorrect, or defective items will be cross-referenced against these video archives.

6. Official Adhesive Partner & Application Standards

6.1. Walker Tape® Reseller: We are an authorized reseller of genuine Walker Tape® products (USA). All Tape-In extensions are fitted with authentic, dermatologically safe, and hypoallergenic Walker Tape® adhesive tabs. 6.2. Sandwich Application Method: Our Tape-In extensions are designed specifically for the professional Sandwich Method (where a thin layer of natural hair is sandwiched precisely between two extension tape tabs). 6.3. Adhesive Nature: Adhesive tabs are consumable application components provided as a pre-application aid. Adhesive strength, retention time, and durability depend on external variables beyond our control, including scalp oil levels, hair wash frequency, heat exposure, and correct application.

7. Application Disclaimer & Performance Limitations

7.1. We do not guarantee specific aesthetic or retention results following installation. 7.2. Slippage, lifting, detachment, or improper placement are not manufacturing defects. They result from application error, incorrect scalp preparation (e.g., applying on oily or unwashed hair), or improper aftercare. 7.3. Professional installation is strongly recommended. However, final responsibility for application and maintenance rests entirely with the user or installer.

8. Aftercare & Customer Responsibility

8.1. Customers are solely responsible for following our official Care & Installation Guide provided via our website, packaging QR code, and confirmation e-mails. 8.2. Failure to follow care instructions—including the use of unsuitable hair products, incorrect washing techniques, improper brushing, or excessive chemical/heat exposure—will void any potential quality claims or guarantee.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. Charry&Rose shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damage or dissatisfaction resulting from:

  • Incorrect installation (whether by a professional or at home).

  • Improper care, washing, or maintenance.

  • Adhesive slippage or bond failure.

  • Cutting, colouring, or altering the hair extensions in any manner.

  • Failure to review provided instructions or test sample pieces.

10. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

10.1. In the rare event of receiving a faulty or incorrect item, the customer must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photo and video evidence. 10.2. Reported issues will be inspected alongside our internal 60-day video archives. Confirmed manufacturing faults will be resolved via replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

11.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 11.2. Any legal claims or disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
